The Late Shows
13 - 14 May 2011 
The Late Shows is an inspiring, after dark programme of events and exhibitions centering on the cultural venues in NewcastleGateshead that are usually closed in the evening. The Late Shows began in 2007 and by 2010 - it's fourth year - had almost doubled in size since its beginning. The 2011 event is set to be the biggest and best Late Shows yet!

The array of events just announced for the 2011 line up include live DJ sets, print-making, treasure hunts, classic party games, a 1920s theme night and face-to-face football challenges. Free City SightSeeing buses will link the venues on Saturday to make it even easier to move around the venues.

The Sage Gateshead’s 2011 SummerTyne Festival will focus on the Americana theme which has been so successful in previous years. The programme will include concerts in The Sage Gateshead ranging from classical to country to rock , the very popular free outdoor stage on Performance Square programmed in collaboration with Jumpin’ Hot.
